I got this in the post today. Interesting. I wonder if this sort of thing is the way forward for people who want a physical accompaniment to their digital album? Is it a gimmick? Can you imagine lining up your lanyard collection on a shelf, or hanging them up on a hook to have a browse?

There’ll always be a place for CDs and vinyl in my life, even if it is a massive pain in the arse when it comes to storing them. Still, they look lovely. Not sure a bunch of lanyards would have the same effect. But I’m sure – especially with albums like Tinie Tempah’s – that I’m not strictly the demographic for this sort of thing. No doubt that this is the playground accessory du jour for 16 -year-olds.

PS – The album is actually quite good, in fairness…
